We do things a little differently around here.

We believe the mental health space needs a serious makeover, and we set ourselves apart from other, more traditional psychology practices. We also believe that traditional approaches must evolve to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health.

At Pivot Point, we are committed to driving that evolution.

We are a psychology practice based in Castle Hill committed to bringing therapy into the 21st century by implementing advanced methods to provide accessible, convenient, and highly effective mental health support.

Our innovative telehealth services provide access to our practitioners no matter where you are in Australia. Whether you need support during a challenging time or want to make the pivot towards living your best life, we aim to ensure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Our therapists collaborate with clients, offering a warm, non-judgmental, strengths-based approach to provide the necessary tools for achieving their goals. We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable seeking support.

Our Mission

At its core, our mission is to help people reconnect with their values, achieve their goals, unlock their potential, and live richer, more meaningful, and fulfilling lives.

Our Vision

Our vision is to lead a much-needed and crucial transformation in the Australian mental health sector. We are committed to bringing therapy into the 21st century by implementing advanced methods to provide accessible, convenient, and highly effective mental health support.

Our Values

These core values serve as guiding principles for our practice, informing our decision-making, interactions, and approach to therapy.

Empathy and Compassion

We believe in approaching every individual with empathy, kindness, and understanding. Compassion is at the heart of everything we do, guiding our interactions with clients as we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where they feel heard and supported.

We value authenticity and honesty in our therapeutic relationships. We encourage clients to explore their authentic selves without fear of judgment or pretence. We strive to be genuine and transparent in our interactions, creating a space where vulnerability is embraced and celebrated.

We are committed to empowering our clients to take an active role in their own healing and growth journey. We provide them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to make positive changes in their lives, fostering a sense of agency and self-efficacy.

We believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. We work collaboratively with our clients, respecting their unique perspectives and experiences. We also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and resources to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.

We recognise that growth and change are essential aspects of the human experience. We support and encourage our clients to embrace challenges as opportunities for personal and psychological growth, guiding them towards greater resilience, self-awareness, and fulfilment.

Diversity and Inclusion

We celebrate and honour the diversity of human experiences, backgrounds, and identities. We are committed to creating a culturally competent and inclusive practice where all individuals feel valued, respected, and affirmed, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.

A Pivot Point is a significant moment in a person’s life that has the potential to bring about a profound change in their beliefs, actions, or direction in life. This moment marks a point of clarity, decision, or realisation when a person chooses to consciously adapt, grow, or take a new path in response to opportunities or challenges.

A Pivot Point represents an opportunity for individuals, organisations, or systems to pivot and chart a new course toward growth, resilience, and success.

Therapy sessions offer an opportunity to gain new perspectives on challenges, reevaluate what draws you towards change, and identify barriers that may stand in your way.
